A child Vs. A Son (Christmas thought)

For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the greatness of his government and peace
    there will be no end.
He will reign on David’s throne
    and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it
    with justice and righteousness
from that time on and forever.
The zeal of the Lord Almighty
    will accomplish this. (Isaiah 9:6-7)

It was God's wish to give a son to the world, a son who shall have the government on his shoulders, meaning a son who is capable to lead God's people.

He wanted to give us a son, but he couldn't. He couldn't skip all of the due process. All he could give was a child. The child had to come first, then the child grew into the son he wanted.

There is a process to everything. Speaking figuratively, that son you are craving for has to be a child first.

Your dreams and ambitions must go through due process. You wont just wake up and have it all. Someone once said, ''you cant get a baby in a month by getting nine women pregnant. No! You will always get a baby in nine months''. There is a process. If God himself had to follow the process, trust me, you have to follow the process too

What son do you want? Are you ready to take the pain of nurturing the child you have, until you get the son you want?
What child has been born unto you? Don't be in a hurry for the child to grow into the son you crave for. The child could be an idea or a project. Friend, be patient and nurture the child to become the son you want. For instance, this article was a child in my head a few hours ago, I had to follow a process to turn it into a son which I can present to you all.

Is the Christ in you still a child or 'the son'. Is the Christ in you the same Christ that was born about 2050 years ago? Is it a powerless Christ? Well, if the Christ in you hasn't grown, I am encouraging you to nurture the child into the Son god intended to give you. The Son who shall be called Mighty God.

If there is no Christ in you, this is a huge opportunity to receive him. Receive that Child that was born, and nurture him into the son that he is.

Christ in you, the hope of Glory!

Merry Christmas to you. God bless you.
